Christ 30s

Christ 30s rules

A team game where time is short and the Bible is big. Here is everything you need to get started.

  1. Teams. Each room has 2 to 6 teams with 2 to 4 players each (16 max). Every team has a color and a pawn on the board.
  2. The turn. One team plays at a time. One player is the narrator and sees a card with five words. The color of the square the pawn is on (blue or yellow) decides which side of the card is used. There are 30 seconds on the clock.
  3. Describe without saying it. The narrator gets the team to guess each word using clues. They cannot say the word, part of it, words from the same family, or use gestures or sounds.
  4. Got it? The narrator taps the word and someone on the team presses GO. The pawn moves one square, scores a point and the card flips to the color of the new square.
  5. Risk squares. Squares with a red border (6, 12, 18 and 30) are risky: if the turn ends with no right answer on that square, the pawn moves back one square.
  6. Opponents watch. The other teams can see the words. If the narrator says a forbidden word they press Fault: the turn ends and the team moves back one square. Opponents can also undo the last right answer.
  7. Changing narrator. A teammate can ask to narrate and the current narrator hands over. Someone who has already passed cannot narrate again in the same turn.
  8. Winning. The first team to reach the cross (square 34) wins. Each player's points are saved to their profile.
  9. Host. The person who creates the room builds the teams, can shuffle them, starts the game, fixes pawns if there is a mistake and can delete the room when it is empty.
Tip: talk fast and loud, and do not get stuck on a hard word — move on to the next one.
